La Bourrine à Rosalie:
(Within 10 minutes from the gite)

La Bourrine à Rosalie is a small house covered by thatch in the Brittany swamps. The Brittany swamp is located at north of the Vendee. This small house is not far from former Sallertaine island. In the past, this area was totally covered by the sea. In 19th? century, the monks with their spades, dug gaps to drain the lands to exploit it...

 La ferme des pommettes:

More than 20 species represented in this farm where you can also enjoy pony rides, tractor and cart.

   

Challans's market:

Open all year, especially every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. Enjoy the atmosphere and the good local produces from one of the most famous market of Vendée.

Saint Jean de Monts:
(more or less 15 minutes from the gite)

Enjoy beautiful beaches free of thin sand. Parking easy and free.

 Saint Gilles Croix de Vie:
(20 minutes)

This beautiful seaside town has the advantage of being very alive throughout the year, casino, shopping street, movie, and an extensive network of cycle tracks. Many very good restaurants.

   

Windfarm of Bouin
(25 minutes)

Visit the largest wind farm of Vendee.

Ile de Noirmoutier:
(30 minutes)

At 30 minutes through the Passage du Gois (unique place in Europe, where the tidal waves submerge every day this road to the island).
Go through the bridge of Noirmoutier (free), visit the salt marshes, enjoy an extensive cycle network, visit the castel.
   

Jardin des Olfacties :
(40  minutes)

When the garden becomes a kingdom of seents ..
The gentle pleasure of a walk through 5 ha of perfumed flowers.
   

Planète Sauvage :
